The Olmstead Apartments
PROJECT DETAILS
The Olmstead Apartments project consisted of a full-scale renovation and conversion of a 153-unit hotel into a multifamily housing development. This project required a complete interior overhaul to reconfigure layouts, upgrade systems, and deliver a cohesive residential environment within an existing structure. Designed in part to serve as housing for refugees entering the United States, the project carried an added level of purpose—providing safe, functional living spaces for individuals and families beginning a new chapter.
SCOPE OF WORK
We supported the transformation by providing framing, drywall installation and finishing, interior painting, hollow metal door, frame, and hardware installation, along with a variety of specialty scopes throughout the building. Our crews maintained a steady production pace while ensuring consistent quality across all 153 units and common areas, supporting both schedule demands and the importance of delivering a reliable, comfortable living environment.
RESULT
The Olmstead Apartments project successfully converted a large hospitality property into a fully functional residential community that now serves as housing for refugees and long-term residents alike. The completed development delivers safe, updated living spaces while contributing to both the local community and a broader humanitarian effort through the adaptive reuse of the existing structure.
